Book Early - Avoid Disappointment

I Love meet and greet, Facebook’s favourite UK airport parking brand, is urging customers to book their airport parking early for the 2018 summer season.

Sarah Anglim, founder and managing director of I Love meet and greet, explains, “We have been persuading our loyal customers to book early to avoid the inevitable price rises for this summer. Meet and greet parking on the forecourt for June is already over £100 and we estimate that the price will rise to over £150 for the peak weeks of the school holidays.”

At both Gatwick and Stansted airports, there are more passengers than parking spaces so during the busy travel periods, demand is much more than supply, causing the prices to rise. The rush of families trying to make the most of time off school and workers taking advantage of the bank holidays means that car parks get booked up and the fewer spaces that are left the more expensive they can get. The price increases for May were some of the largest rises seen for several years, indicating that the 2018 summer season might set new records for the cost of airport parking.

Sarah adds, “Customers can avoid the price increases by booking as early as possible. Our advice is to use the discount codes which customers receive via email and book your airport car parking to get today’s best deal rather than wait for tomorrow’s undoubtably higher cost.”
