Accessibility to Airports

I Love meet and greet, the UK’s highest rated airport meet and greet parking operator, delivers its service on the forecourt which is the best way for anyone with reduced mobility to access the airport. The CAA has criticised all UK airports for their lack of accessibility, although they stopped short of considering how airport parking can be seen as a significant barrier to some travellers.
Sarah Anglim, founder and managing director of I Love meet and greet, explains: “The advantages of meet and greet airport parking are that the customer drives directly to the terminal forecourt and that there is no need to park or use car park transfer buses. This makes this type of airport parking ideal for anyone who is living with a disability. The location is the closest to the terminal and simplicity of dropping off and picking up your car in the same place removes much of the stress of driving to the airport. Just as importantly the customer retains their independence, driving their own car, rather than relying on public transport or someone else to help.”
I Love meet and greet is one the few meet and greet parking companies which offer a service approved by Gatwick airport for the terminal forecourt. Other operators work in the car parks, with the added hassle of lifts complicating what should be a simple parking process.
